An ambassador is an official envoy, an authorized representative or messenger. Believers in Jesus are agents, delegates of Christ representing our homeland in a foreign land.
We are in the places we are because that is where God knows we are best suited to serve as His ambassadors. There are people who we will meet that are yearning for help, hope, forgiveness, and love. We have the opportunity to introduce them to Jesus.
What a week! Distressful if you watch the news. There will be serious consequences for those who misuse trust and destroy lives. God sees all, hears all and knows all. He will take care of it all, when He is ready. Perhaps He is waiting for one more person to meet His Son. He waits, so that all may have the opportunity to know.
Thought For Today:
You have a story. If you are alive you have history. You have come through valleys that seemed they would never end and yet you finally stood on the mountain. Your story may help someone else find the Shepherd who will traverse the dark places with them too. How can we not be willing to do what a good ambassador does?
Tell about your homeland. About the God of the Universe and His Son. About the life that will go on beyond this life…so many years that it is called eternal.

Philippians 3:20
20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. (NLT)
Prayer For Today:
Hello Father! Thank You for yesterday. Thank You for today. We pray that we seize the day we are in and speak of Your goodness, Your love for us and Jesus who came to save the world. We pray for the ability to be ambassadors of heaven, where our citizenship is. Our beloved homeland. Forgive us of our sins. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
