User and Password Not Found, Access Denied

I had a problem with “passwords” for my email apps lately. Continuously getting a message “cannot find user and password.” I became so frustrated while trying to receive and send my emails.

The problem? I had to have a special one time password through the mail app that would release all the mail capabilities on each device I use. A new security effort to protect my mail. After spending weeks trying to figure it out and seeing my mail finally load was a huge relief.

Thought For Today:
My problem and relief at a solution reminds me of another security issue. It is of greater importance than any computer issue. Knowing Jesus Christ as our Savior. Eternal life has a password. Entering the secure domain that God has ready for His children requires some preparation on our part. A choice must be made.

The difference in God’s password and computer passwords is accessibility. It is not secret. It is not hidden. It is not difficult to interpret.  In fact, this password was published and recorded in the most popular book ever written…the Holy Bible. If you want to find your password you can begin in the Old Testament. There you will find the prophets foretelling the arrival of a Messiah who would secure eternal life for believers. The instructions for acquiring your password are in the New Testament. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John will introduce you to the key password to eternal life with God. You will learn how the application works and how to gain access to heaven.

Once you find and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, your password is engraved upon your heart. You move from non-subscriber to subscriber to Christ and eternal life. Without Him as a part of your heart…access is denied. We don’t like hearing that a connection is not possible because the user name and password cannot be found when dealing with computers. The loss of our relationship with God will be more consequential than we can bear to think about.

Don’t think you will ever need the Application of Christ? There comes a time when we will be before the door of eternity. You don’t want to wait until you stand there and find that you cannot enter because you did not secure your password. Jesus is the username…saved by grace is the password.  It is a security issue. An eternal security. Don’t delay.

Scripture For Today:
Romans 10:10-13
10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” 12 Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (NLT)

Acts 4:12

12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” (NLT)

Hebrews 7:25
25 Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf. (NLT)

Philippians 3:20-21

20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. 21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control. (NLT)

Prayer For Today:

Hello Father! We pray that all may learn the only name that will give us unlimited access to Your ear, Your home and life eternal. Keep our minds on Jesus through these difficult days. The enemy would have us look away from You and at the world, seeking passes into evil things and forgetting the one most important thing…belief in Your Son, Jesus. We ask forgiveness of our sins. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
