Could You Be An Answered Prayer?

image

Have you ever had a day when you prayed for God to send someone special? Someone with a smile instead of a frown? Someone speaking hope instead of pessimism?  Someone with a spirit of grace instead of disfavor. I think we all have prayed that prayer.

If you are a believer then you are on standby for just such a mission. You are an ambassador of Christ. You might just be the one that answers that prayer for someone else.

Your demeanor might give another courage. Your walk through a crisis will certainly be an opportunity to witness who Christ is in your life.

There seems to be more bad news than good these days. The voice that rejoices in the midst of chaos turns eyes and ears toward them.

~Thought For Today~

Sunflowers cannot help but turn their faces to the sun. They seek the light. Could you be the light of Jesus that someone needs to turn to this very day? Just as they turn their faces to the source of light, sunflowers droop down on a day without the sun. Their faces don’t know which way to look.  People are like sunflowers. We need a source of light and hope to lift our faces.

We gravitate to those with welcoming smiles and joyful countenance. We turn away from cranky, frowny folks.

Homework for today. Smile like you mean it. Laugh with victory over your circumstances. You know our enemy is offended when we are able to rejoice in the middle of a storm.

By all means, and most important.  Love like Jesus!! Let His light in you, shine before others, that their attention might turn to Jesus Christ, the hope of the world.

~Scripture For Today~

Ephesians 4:1-3

4 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (NASB)

~Prayer For Today~

Hello Father! We belong to You. We have heavenly escorts all around us as we go about our day. We pray for good news today. We pray that others hear good news from us. Words of encouragement and grace. Keep our minds, our hands and our feet busy about Your work today. We are your messenger on earth. Forgive us of our sins. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
