Lest You Become Weary

We have made it through another week. The report of some, will be that it was a great week. Some will say there were bumps. Perhaps there will be those who experienced more than bumps. A very difficult week.

I must tell you that I find it hard to write tonight. The study of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane is very intense. I find it hard to complain about my days difficulties after studying that. Such agony. He knew what He must do and He did it.

Thought For Today:
We are so different. Don’t we often run from trouble? We do end runs around people, places and situations that may cause us problems. Just not up to dealing with it or them. Not our Savior. Not Jesus the Christ, The Son of God. Our Redeemer. He met His accusers. He knew what He needed to do and He did it. He was the author and finisher of our faith. He placed the seal on the contract to eternity for all who believe. That makes any day a good day! Find your blessings. They are everywhere.

Scripture For Today:
Hebrews 12:2-3
2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (NKJ)

3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. 4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. (NKJ)

Prayer For Today:

Hello Father! Thank You for sending Your Son to give Himself up to be the sacrifice for all the world who would believe.  A labor of love. We pray for boldness to stand firm in our faith and then run the race before us. Forgive us of our sins. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
