No Fear

It would be easy to just give up. Throw in the towel. Yell calf-rope at the top of our lungs. There are wrong decisions being made at every turn. Most, if not all the decisions are out of our control. But are they? Are they really out of the control of the believer?

Isn’t throwing in the towel what our enemy wants? Doesn’t he rejoice when he sees a child of God enveloped in a pity party, fearful, and anxiety ridden? He wants to see believers so exasperated that we begin to question if God is in our midst. Is He hearing our prayers? Does He care about the evil that seems to be rising up everywhere? Our enemy wants to see us fail in the eyes of the Father, so He can go before Him as he did about Job. Tell God that we are weak and will not be able to stand the test. The devil is a liar! He is a deceiver. That is his calling card.

I believe God is still in our midst.  There are days that make us wonder, but He has promised not to forsake us. He has His eye on His children. He numbers even the hairs on our heads. He sees our frustration, concern, and our tears. He will not forsake us.

What does He need from us? He needs our faith to be stronger perhaps than at any other time in our life. He needs us to trust Him in these hours of chaotic behavior. He needs us to be witnesses for His Son Jesus Christ. He needs us to seek His face. He needs us to be obedient to His word. He needs us to love in Jesus name. He needs us to be courageous and to pray without ceasing. Pray about the leadership of our country. Pray for the changes we need to bring our country back to Him. Then when the time arrives to speak, speak with our votes. We are called to keep moving in the full assurance of our faith with no fear!

~Scripture For Today~

9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. ( NLT)

Psalm 27:8

8 My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.” ( NLT)

Hebrews 13:6

6 So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”(NLT)

~ Prayer For Today~

Hello Father! We turn our eyes and hearts to You. Our help comes from You and only You. We place our faith and trust in you in these difficult days, concerning all things. We pray that You reveal the evil in the dark places where it hides. Flood it with light. Give us boldness and courage to speak. Thank You for Your unending love and for Jesus who shed His blood for all who would come to Him believing. Forgive us of our sins. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
