Have you experienced “wobbly” days? Days when difficulties come, decisions are required, problems need resolved, issues overwhelm? You feel yourself pulled ever closer to the fear and anxiety and away from the Rock of Gibraltar? You pray for God’s steady favor to keep you upright but the imbalance seems to be winning?
Our enemy wants to increase our “wobbly” days. He wants to draw us to anxiety, fear, and worry. If he can get our focus on those things and draw us to a state of imbalance, he has taken our day! Our peace! Our sanity! We cannot allow him a foothold of victory in our day.
That Rock of Gibraltar is Jesus. He is always at our side. He is our Lion of Judah, our warrior. He goes before and behind us, clearing the way for safe passage. He sets our feet firmly and raises us to a steady posture against anything that comes before us.
It has been my experience that “wobbly” days quickly steady when Jesus is our constant companion. Softly spoken prayers throughout the day bring confidence that we can handle whatever comes our way. He will help us through the storms. If we ask Him to show us the goodness that sits in the middle of the burned ashes of trouble, He will reveal the blessings hidden in the turmoil. If we ask to have eyes to seek the blessings that God has secured for us, He will reveal a new focus.
Find something good and of value in this day of trouble. Thank Him for those good things and hand over the trouble. He will take care of it and replace our anxiety, fear and “wobbly” moments with peace, calm, grace and mercy.

~Prayer For Today~
Hello Father…We thank You for this day. Yesterday is gone, a new day is before us. We pray for Your presence in our day to steady us and anchor us to You, not the anxiety, worry and problems that may try to draw us from You. Open our eyes to those things that are good and blessings, and our hearts to sow peace, mercy and grace. Let us draw attention to You and away from the winds that push and pull. Forgive us our sins, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
So good to read your words again! I’m sure that your time away and all the inspiring family experiences you had has given you new insight!
Thank you Ruby. You are my inspiration. The mountains and experiences there also help to bring our mind back to what we love.
Love you,
Kathy
